Professor Kennth James Blundell is currently a 10th Dan in the British Ju Jitsu Association governing body, only one of three in the country. He first started learning traditional Japanese Ju Jitsu when he was only six years old, way back in 1957. Professor Kenneth was taught by his father, the Soke Dr. James Joseph Blundell. He was also trained by other Ju Jitsu coaches who were also trained by his father. Professor Kenneth also studied Kobudo and is now an expert in all the weaponary of the Samurai warriors, having been taught by two male caucasian experts, his father being one of them and two Japanese masters of the arts, one being a direct descendant of a Samurai warrior. Professor Kenneth now runs his own club in West Derby Liverpool, which he took over from his late father. Professor Kenneth has also taught in many countries around the world including many states across America, north and south Africa, across Scandinavia, some middle eastern countries and lots of countries all over Europe and the UK. He still continues to do his travelling today giving courses or lectures to any student or clubs who want to learn from him, so he can pass on his expert knowledge.

Professor Kenneth is an executive member of the BJJAGB, which governs, polices, controls and promotes the safe practice of Japanese Ju Jitsu in this country today.
